ITAD & Data Erasure

Sanitization you can put in front of a regulator.

Every drive that touches TRG is tracked by serial number from receipt to certificate of destruction. Whether you need software erasure, degaussing, or physical shredding, the audit trail is the deliverable.

Sanitization methods

Three rigorous methods. One uncompromising standard.

Method M1

NIST 800-88 Software Erasure

Validated software overwrite for SSD, HDD, and enterprise flash. Each device gets a tamper-evident wipe report.

Best for: Drives intended for resale or redeployment.

Method M2

Degaussing

Magnetic field sanitization for spinning media. Renders drives unreadable and unrecoverable by forensic tooling.

Best for: Legacy HDD batches not intended for resale.

Method M3

On-Site Physical Shred

Mobile shred unit dispatched to your facility. Witnessed destruction to ≤ 2mm particle size, video captured.

Best for: Classified, regulated, or zero-tolerance data sets.

HDD destruction
Documentation

A certificate per drive. A report per project.

Serialized records satisfy HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, FACTA, and most state data-protection statutes.

Compliance alignment

Built for regulated environments.

HIPAA
Sanitization & physical destruction meet 45 CFR §164.310(d)(2)(i)
SOX
Asset disposal evidence retained for audit and §404 reviews
GLBA
Customer information safeguarded through end-of-life
FACTA
Disposal Rule compliance for consumer-report data
NIST 800-88 Rev. 1
Clear, Purge, and Destroy methodologies
R2v3
Aligned downstream recycling partners
